Reflective task (Task B)

Write a brief report (approximately 2-3 sides of single-spaced A4) describing and reflecting upon one or more (but probably not all) of the following:

• the way you organised your time and other resources in accomplishing (or otherwise) Task A
• your design approach and why you did it that way
• the technical approach(es) adopted to the Task A problem
• specific technical problems you encountered with Task A and how you overcame them
• what you learned, and how and why you would do things differently if presented with the same problem again

Credit will be awarded both for the technical and project management aspects described and the quality of reflection.

Advice

• The most common fault with this sort of report is that students write in vague generalities rather than giving specific detail or examples.
• The best reports are those that provide solid information that could usefully be used by a future student doing a similar exercise.
• The report needs to say clearly what you did, how you did it, and why you did it that way.
