Web programmingUnits WEB1P and WEB2P |
Friday 9th January 2009. Meet in Lion Gate 0.7a at 0930 prompt for briefing. The specification will be available here from approximately 0900 onwards.
At 1630, each group must submit their group's work. Hand-in for this will be direct to the SWS tutor (Dr Briggs), not to the Admin Office.
Individual work (the deliverables from Task C) must be submitted to the CAM Admin Office by Friday 16th January 2009. Normal coursework hand-in regulations and procedures apply.
The SWS will consist of a group development exercise involving Java servlets and JSPs. Familiarity with developing these with NetBeans will be assumed. Some initial development work (Task A) needs to be undertaken to prepare for the SWS. This can be done either individually or as a group.

The SWS will be carried out in groups of 3. If you wish to form your own group, please notify the names of its members to me (Dr Jim Briggs) to be recorded here before Friday 2nd January. Anyone not in a notified group will be randomly assigned to a group. Pre-formed groups of 3 may exceptionally be allocated a fourth person by me. If it is necessary to do this, the allocation will be made to the group(s) last notified to me.If a majority of students indicate so, all groups will be allocated randomly.
