Timetable |
Students are expected to do the directed reading specified on the unit website. Weekly online tutorials will take place at which topics will be discussed and problems answered. Online tutorials will take place on MONDAYS at 2000 UK time starting on Monday 5th October. |

Students are expected to read extensively and practice their programming skills in their own time. Students should not attempt this unit unless they meet the programming prerequisite. A reading list is available. |

Assessments and their weighting |
Exam (60%)At end of unit. 2 hours duration. Closed book. The exam consists of 6 or more questions. You must answer 4 questions. Pass mark 40%. Note that the exact content of the course varies from year to year. Coursework (40%)Coursework to be issued during the unit and submitted near the end. |
