Scenario

The questions in Section A should be answered in the context of this scenario.

Super Cars is a high-class chauffeur service for corporate and private clients based in Fareham, near Portsmouth. Its founder and managing director is Mr Austin Vauxford.

For some time now, the company has been struggling with an ineffective IT system. Online booking by clients is not possible, nor do the company's drivers have access to the system when out on the road.

The company wish to develop a new web-based system that would help them perform the following business functions:

• Taking booking for cars by corporate and private clients, online and by telephone.
• Managing bookings by office staff.
• Managing corporate accounts by office staff, including billing.
• Managing accounts by selected corporate clients online.
• Route planning by drivers.
• Providing integration with real-time traffic information for drivers.
• Providing customers (and potential customers) with details of the services offered and the fleet of cars available.
• Recruiting new drivers.

Super Cars would like an appropriate domain name to be obtained for the site, in particular one that contains the name of the company. They would also like to maximise the chances of their website being visited by potential customers using search engines or web directories.
